microphone by Diana Fernandez

Reads values from a microphone connected to analog input pin 0. The value read from the microphone is proportional to the sound level in the proximity. The value read is printed to the serial monitor

int sensorValue;

void setup()
  Serial.begin(9600); // sets the serial port to 9600

void loop()
  sensorValue = analogRead(0);       // read analog input pin 0
  Serial.println(sensorValue, DEC); // prints the value read
  delay(100);                        // wait 100ms for next reading
