Connecting a motor

This schematics shows how to connect a generic DC motor to a Wiring binary or PWM pin. The MOSFET switch allows to connect different voltage devices to the Wiring I/O board that can't be directy connected to it. Verify that the voltage applied to the motor is in the range supported by it. There is variety of motors available in the market and different factors like, voltage power, torque etc must be taken into consideration when choosing the right one for an application
