Homemade Wiring Board ATmega2561 (Read 13225 times)

Hi, im triying to do my own Wiring Board with an Atmega2561
i burn the atmega2561stk500boot.hex but when i try to upload a program an error display: Timeout. Sad, Any ideas?

it might be matter of fuses, what software are you using to burn the bootloader? avrstudio?

Ok, Problem solved.
Fuses:

Low: 0xFF
High: 0xD0
Extended:  0xFD

Also changing the Bootloader:

Ok, its not really a board, i'll called a Wiring Micro. Tongue
...

I want to know how can i change the baud rate for the programing, cause i want to use an XBee  to program wireless, so i have to change the baud rate from the micro and from the IDE.

here is the code for the bootloaders, http://wiring.uniandes.edu.co/source/trunk/wiring/firmware/hardware/Wiring/bootloader/ you can modify the speed setup for it and compile for the cpu you want.

Does that mean I can not use a different baud rate such as 57600?

you can, if you change that definition, by default we use 115200 for the bootloader.

Where can i change the serial uploading of the IDE i have try in Preferences.txt but still uploading at 115200, no matter what baud rate i choose. Sad     P.S. Thx.
