Hi everyone,

I was examing my wiring board. And i found something strange:
http://www.maartenlamers.com/ThisIsWiring/images/wiringboard1.jpg

On the picture, there are 5 double pins on the left.

On my wiring board(the newest i thought) there a 4 single pin's(one of them said J4)
from top down:

Vcc
Gnd
Gnd
Vcc

Is that simular to the power out on the right?

I'm just being curious

Thanks

hi, Yes that´s the previous version of the Wiring board, it had the 10 pin JTAG connector on it which wasn´t used at all. We replace that connector with additional power lines (vcc and gnd) to make it more flexible when building projects.

So they are providing a constant 5V and Gnd function?

Thanks!

Yes. 5V and GND from the wiring board power regulator.
