wow, it took me a while, but I finally figured out why I couldn't get the simple blink LED working. The VCC and GND "socket" is definitely not soldered to the board. I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this or not.

Looks like I'll have to break out my soldering iron.

hi, that's odd, we check on every board, which socket are you talking about? (the new wiring board has two power sections one near the USB connector and one on the left near the diagnostic amber LED)

I have 6 old-style Wiring boards and 10 new-style boards and they all work perfectly.

Let us know what you find out about yours.
