i've seen the wireless serial tutorial, and todbot's tutorial for setting up a port for os x tiger, which seems promising:

http://todbot.com/blog/2006/02/23/howto-mac-os-x-bluetooth-serial-port/

can anyone advise if multiple (3) serial adapters (one each on a wiring board) can be used to send sensor values to the computer as well as to the boards?? i am trying to have 3 objects send sensor data to run a processing program as well as affect the LEDs on each of the wiring boards.

the link to BlueSMirF:

thanks in advance.

hi, yes it is possible, using the usb dongle software in your computer you can add as many smirf it finds as different serial ports in your computer. If you have 3 smirfs each on a Wiring board then you can read/write data from/to each board (share data between them).
