Anyone know of any part numbers for wire tips for attaching to wire ends and plugging into pin adapters and connectors?

I've tried searching but I don't think this is their official product name because I've been coming up empty handed.

Also if anyone knows any part numbers for good wire connectors like the ones shown below this would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance...

I think they are described as Modular Crimp Connectors with a 2.54mm (0.1") pitch, made by Molex.

If you wish to buy them new, i think these will work:

http://uk.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=3291327&N=0

I am not sure since I haven't bought them yet :/

The link above is for the 2 pin (2-way) connector, there are many different sized housings available.

Make sure you buy a package of metal crimp connectors as well as the plastic housings to go with them.

There is supposedly a special tool for crimping these connectors since they are pain. But if you are patient it is more than possible to do it with some needle nose pliers.

Good Luck! Be sure to report back with any findings.

Thanks for that zambetti.

I ended up ordering the female as well as the male crimp connectors because they plug into breadboards very nicely.  I also picked up a bunch of the 2-way connectors.

Digi-key product info below...
WM1101-ND
CONN TERM FEMALE 14-20AWG TIN

WM1100-ND
CONN TERM MALE 14-20AWG TIN

WM8000-ND
CONN HOUSING 2POS .100" SINGLE

Turns out the crimp connectors I ordered aren't what I was expecting, they're a larger version of the examples I had so they don't fit into my connectors or breadboard.

So I don't recommend buying these product numbers anyway.

WM1101-ND
CONN TERM FEMALE 14-20AWG TIN

WM1100-ND
CONN TERM MALE 14-20AWG TIN

Damn! Looks like I pointed you in the wrong direction for the crimp sockets. I apologize for that, I am still new at this too :/

If the housing is the right size, then its datasheet:

http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/36829.pdf

says it should be used with Molex part #90119 (digi-key WM2561-ND). This looks correct since it is labeled as 26-28AWG .100" and is of a smaller gauge.
