Hi

I need to use a timer in this way :
the robot is searching for a ball .... wait 5 sec if it can't find the ball it goes to center.
please suggest! i found this about timing : http://wiring.org.co/reference/libraries/Timer2/Timer2.html
was there such thing as a timer1 ?

yes, that's a way, also check this http://wiring.org.co/learning/basics/timer.html, depending on how often you could use micros() instead of millis().
