Title: Can you use Arduino and freeduino boards?
Post by jgriessen on 09/12/07 at 15:48:18
I found my way here via freeduino/arduino mention, but even though the same processor is on the IO board, I find no reference to compatibility with Wiring.

What similarities and differences does the hardware and programming environment have between freeduino/arduino and wiring?

Thanks,

John

Hi, John, here you can find a comparison chart between the two systems: http://wiring.org.co/ioboard/compare.html Both systems are open source, hardware schematics and production files are available at no cost for both systems. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

The comparison chart is not at http://wiring.org.co/ioboard/compare.html any more. Is there a new URL or has the information been deleted?

it's located here:

The arduino is simular to the freeduino, but wiring has more pins and functions and is therefor more expensive.
